As a teacher it is important to facilitate exploration and discovery in a supportive and enriching environment. Children must be able to learn through experiences of touching, moving, listening, seeing, and hearing. Therefore, I create lessons that take the student beyond the classroom to experience the out-doors. I believe that it is valuable to assist students in developing an appreciation for the natural world around them.
